ePanel Terms of Service

1. About these terms

ePanel is a website management platform supplied by Cameron John Pollack, trading as Echo Technology, ABN 79 490 104 790 (“Echo”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply to the business that uses ePanel for its website (“you”) and to every person you authorise to sign in. If you have a separate written agreement with Echo for your website, that agreement applies where it is inconsistent with these terms.

2. Accounts and security

  • Only people you authorise may use your ePanel account. Keep sign-in details private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Two-factor authentication is required for billing and administrator access. We may require it for other access.
  • We may suspend a sign-in to protect your account or the service, and will tell you why when it is safe to do so.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to ePanel. You give us permission to host, store, copy and display it as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights to your content and for its accuracy and legality, including giving your website visitors any privacy notice they need.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use ePanel for unlawful, misleading or infringing content, to distribute malware, to interfere with or probe the security of the service, or in a way that places an unreasonable load on it. We may remove content that breaks this clause after telling you, or immediately where there is a legal or security risk.

5. Subscription and billing

  • ePanel is billed as a monthly subscription for each website. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • The standard package is A$129.99 per website per month, including basic modules. Named custom modules that are not included in your package cost A$11 each per month. Your actual package, monthly total and GST amount are shown in Billing before you accept them.
  • Your first payment is collected when you complete activation through Stripe. Your subscription then renews automatically each month until cancellation takes effect. You authorise Stripe to charge your saved payment method for each agreed monthly payment.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. ePanel never receives your full card number. Tax invoices are issued through Stripe and are available from Manage billing.
  • Additional work outside your package needs a separate agreement before it is charged. There are no automatic usage charges.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel through Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and there is no early termination fee. Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period or remove amounts already owing. Contact billing@echotechnology.com.au about any billing error or refund request.

7. Price and package changes

We will show you any proposed new price or package terms and ask for your agreement before they apply. An agreed change takes effect from a future renewal date, without an immediate mid-period charge. If you do not agree, the new price is not applied, and you may cancel before any change takes effect.

8. Failed payments

If a payment fails, update your payment details in Manage billing. We allow 14 days for payment recovery before we review the account. ePanel does not currently restrict editing or take websites offline automatically for non-payment. If we decide to restrict access because an amount remains unpaid, we will give you written notice and a reasonable opportunity to pay first.

9. Availability and support

We work to keep ePanel available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance and will try to do so at times that minimise disruption. Support is available on Queensland business days by email at info@echotechnology.com.au or by phone on 1300 013 204.

10. Third-party services

ePanel relies on providers including Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Stripe (payments) and, where you connect them, services such as Google Analytics. Their own terms may also apply to your use of those features.

11. Ending the service

Your service ends when your cancellation takes effect or as set out in any separate agreement. We may suspend or end the service for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. If you want a copy of your website content before your service ends, contact us and we will provide what we reasonably can.

12. Your consumer rights and our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent the law permits, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with ePanel is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in ePanel.

14. Changes to these terms

We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of a material change to these terms. Changes to your price or package follow clause 7 and need your agreement. You may cancel before a change takes effect.

15. Governing law and contact
